The white appearance of the upper leaves of this plant add to its beauty. All parts of the plant share a pleasant minty scent when crushed. This plant is very drought tolerant and attracts a variety of butterflies and moths. Hoary Mountain Mint can spread well, and requires some pruning back in a garden.
