Hummingbirds love me! This 2-4’ plant produces a brilliant scarlet red flower in a large spike cluster at the top of each stem. Up to 50 flowers may be produced on a single spike. The foliage is deep green, with narrow, toothed leaves. This plant prefers moist, partly shaded conditions, but can tolerate a sunny moist spot.
