This Coneflower grows to a height of 3-4’. The foliage is dark green and hairy, with 3-5” long leaves that greatly accent the flowers in mid-summer. The flowers form at the end of long stalks, with a dark central cone surrounded by rays of drooping purple petals. This plant grows extremely well in sunny areas with dry soils.
