This is a small grass reaching only a height of 2-3’ with slender blue-green leaves and a graceful, arching shape. Panicles of small silvery flowers in summer give way to groups of flattened seed, which start green and turn a terrific bronze color as fall approaches. The seed will remain on the plant into winter.
